most futuristic tech: What You Need to Know
THE TL;DW
- Mrwhosetheboss hunts down and hands-on tests the most futuristic tech he could find, from experimental gadgets to robotics pushed to extremes.
- The video’s wildest moments include him getting chased by tech, physically squeezed by a device, and even “cleaned from the inside,” per the video’s own description.
- He frames some of it as genuinely unsettling, saying parts of it scared him rather than impressed him.
The Jupiter Take
Mrwhosetheboss built his channel on hands-on tech testing, and this video leans into the unnerving edge of emerging gadgets rather than just reviewing specs. It’s less about any single product launch and more about how far “futuristic” tech has pushed into physically invasive or autonomous territory.
Context
Mrwhosetheboss (Arun Maini) has built a recurring format around hunting down unusual, cutting-edge, or experimental gadgets, having previously made videos on the “most FUTURISTIC Tech in the World” and tested everything from AI gimbals to brain chips over the years. This installment pushes that format further by making the testing physical and visceral rather than just observational — the creator describes being chased, squeezed, and cleaned from the inside by the devices themselves, signaling a shift toward robotics and body-adjacent tech that interacts directly with the user. That kind of hands-on, slightly alarmed framing fits a broader trend across his channel and the wider tech-YouTube space of treating near-future gadgets as both impressive and genuinely disquieting, rather than purely aspirational.
